I'm looking to write a post for my site ImAFoster to help inform foster parents on things that we as foster kids would want in a foster parent. I have my own experiences and thoughts but I would also like yours as well. What would you like in a foster parent?
Are you looking for a "child "to reply or any person of any age that was a foster to reply ?

Hey! I was fostered age 2-9. I am of Caribbean heritage and my foster family was white British. They were perfect. Check out my foster story on my blog. I hope this helps you out
My formerly fostered kids are now 19 and 18 -- they would say that the best thing about their former foster home is that they had no idea they were "foster kids" -- that was just their mommy and daddy and they were loved for the three years they lived there. When the time came for the boys to be moved for adoption, their foster parents worked very hard to prepare them and support them. Now 15 years after adoption, they are still part of our extended family.
