Hello there,
I'm here searching for my husband's birthmother. I searched the internet so many times before hoping that she was out here somewhere looking for him. It breaks my heart to know that that she could be so close to us right now but so far at the same time.
So please dear birthmother if you are right here somewhere looking for a very handsome 36 years old male with beautiful blue eyes, born in Concord Ma. Please know that he cried like a little child when I said to him that you think of him every Birthday and every Christmas.
He is a great man and I love him, I wish we could find you and tell you our love story, show you pictures of our wedding and have you around when we have your grandkids.
I'm sure you never forgot about him and I assure you he thinks of you.
Lu, your DH can apply for his original birth certificate (which will have his bmom's name, possibly his bdad's on it) in MA. Here is where he can get it:
Division of Vital Statistics
150 Mt Vernon St #1 Dorchester, MA 02125
(617) 740-2600
Best of luck!

Hi Loveajax, Thanks for the info! We didn't know that, we thought that because he was born after 1975 the original birth certificate is sealed and kept confidential by the State registrar of vital records and required a court order for him to gain access to it.
I just looked at their website and as soon my work schedule matches their research hours I will go there in person. Thanks again!
Lu, I am so sorry. I thought the records were open if the birth was before 1986, but it IS before 1974. Totally ridiculous (I don't understand why that cutoff!). Again, my apologies for steering you wrong.
My DH was able to locate his bmom in MA before he got his original birth cert. What adoption agency was your DH placed through? I have a helpful contact at Catholic Charities if that was the agency.
