After careful consideration, I decided last June to give my son something I always wanted...A huge back yard. Well...50 plus home viewings later I am proud to announce I am closing on our new home on 04/18/2013.
Everything is so surreal. I am very distracted at work. No, it's not a new 4000 sq ft and high mortgaged home, but an older model with space for him and my foster kids to run themselves crazy outdoors and a covered patio for me to sit and read a good mystery.
I would not have been motivated to do this as a 45 yrs old single woman, if it was not for wanting my son  to have better than I did. To see his little face when I took him to the house and let him run in the back yard last week was priceless.
We are so excited.
Congrats!!!!! How exciting! !
We also moved, last summer, mostly because of our 2 toddlers :)
My son has now 1 1/2 acres to RUN RUN RUN
and so will my stad, once she lets go of my hand lol
Before, all we had was a porch and a super small yard....now ...well you know:)
We LOVE IT out here. The only 'noise' are chirping birds and crickets

Totally get it; I actually didn't start the adoption process until after I bought my house, but most of why I did it is because I wanted a home for my child. I love my big fenced yard, being in a neighborhood, everything. Congratulations!
