Hi I am new to boards and my husband and I have started the adoption process through our state, OK. We are wanting sib group. We started out considering 3-4. I have one bio son age 6. We did our home assessment and our house will hold up to 12 adopted kids. WOW! was my response. I have coached high school softball and been on teams myself...this is the only reference I can come up with in my mind to compare that many children functioning together.
I want to help, be mom, serve, create a safe stable environment for the kids that come into our lives. I have been trying to envision taking on more kids. I don't know how many....I get lost after 5 or 6 and feel like if I hit 5, what's a few more...not to be insensitive in my remark...soooo my question is how do you know how many to take on when you have the space????
Thanks in advance!
I am curious how they determine how many kids you qualify for? How many to a room would they accept? I hope all is going well on your journey.
