Seeking Deceased father adoption info

Hi Emma, this is a long shot in the dark, but if you knew where your dad was adopted, you may be able to get some info thru the court records Often the court records for adoption are held in the county where the adoption took place. It's hard to know what type of record system courts used at that time.I wish you the best.

Thank you! That was a good idea. The people at the Montague District court were very nice and will be sending me a request form and an 'order' form for a judge to look at. Sounded like its very possible. I just hope he was actually born in that county. Records all indicate he was. =)
