I'm looking for my father and his family. I was told his name is Patrick Joyce, and based on my non-id, he would've been born in approximately 1933, had blonde hair and green eyes.
He was living/stationed in Roswell, NM in 1955. He might've gotten married around 1956.
birthmom won't give me any information so I'm searching blind (again)
I'm pretty sure he doesn't know I exist.
Hello Faye,
Do you have access to Ancestry.com? There is one Patrick Joyce listed born in 1933 whose home in 1940 was South Dakota. Does your non id give you any information on where he was from originally?

Thanks Susan, yes, I've sent out about 12 letters around the country as well as sent messages to all of the Patrick Joyce's on Facebook. Unfortunately the only replies I've received are "not him" "too young"
Ancestry doesn't give Draft Registrations for the 50's yet.

They helped me tremendously and I ended up locating.
Thanks for the suggestion. I joined them years ago, before the internet.

Great, then you are a member and do not have to renew with a membership fee.
They have many more resources and such today. I highly encourage you to update your information with them. I told someone else to do that and they found her daughter. It's worth a try. You never know.
