email showing up in username

I have gone through the user CP, name function, etc, everywhere I can think of to look. I cannot figure out how to get my username "Norma Cenva" to show up instead of my email, which is ONLY in the space for email, no other field. Please tell me how to change that. I'm not happy that it's showing up as my name. That should NEVER be a default setting on any forum.
