Hey everyone, its been a long time since I have posted and I took a long break from fostering. I was not even going to renew my license until "fate" stepped in. I had been selected as a pre-adoptive home for a 9 year old and then that fell through. Two days later I was selected as a pre-adoptive hope for a 15 year old girl. We had our initial meet and things went well, next up is weekend overnights until Christmas and if everything works out then she moves in during that time. Needless to say, I'm excited/nervous and begging for everyone's wisdom when it comes to fostering to adopt teens!
