Manitoba's adoption records are open - but there is also a veto included in the change, so not a clean bill. Making contact with a veto in place is subject to a $50K fine from what I understand. The adoption records are unsealed in both directions. The change applies to approximately 50,000 adoptees, many who I believe are 60's scoop First Nation adoptees... Kind regards, Dickons
