Hi everyone, my name is Christine. I was adopted when I was 2, and my adoption has shaped my whole life. I am currently studying for my PhD, and my interests (unsurprisingly) have been focused on the area of adopted families. Adoptive families are understudied, and I want to change this. I think that the unique dynamics of adoption are important, and the fact that we don't know much about how they function is unacceptable.
To try to fix this, I am conducting a research study about adopted families. Specifically, I am looking for adopted individuals age 18-25 whose adoptive parents are currently still married. If you would like to have your voice heard, please consider taking this short (10 minute) anonymous survey. You will not be identifiable, but you will be contributing to the small (but growing!) body of knowledge about how adoptive families function. If you are interested, please copy and paste this link into your browser:
Thank you so much for your time, and I would love to hear from you!
