Hi everyone, I was foriegn born adopted by a US citizen. I'm an adult now and my adoptive parent is deceased. I want to rescind my adoption so that I can reclaim my natural birth right so to speak. I became a US citizen because of my adoption. If I rescind my adoption, what would happen to my citizenship? I have brothers in the country where I was born and I want to petition them to come to the US. However, legally speaking, I cannot do that because I'm no longer their brother. Will I remain a US citizen if I rescind my adoption?
