Our adopted son is now an adult - in college. He reunited with his birth mother a couple of years ago. She lives on the other side of the world, and came to the states to meet him. Now she wants him to go visit her. It's costly - about $4,000 round trip. As a college student, of course he doesn't have the money for it. Neither do we. Any suggestions on how to respond to her request?
