I know someone who is a social worker in Arizona. He's a darn good one too ... works many of the heartbreaking cases. He's a big tough guy, but when he gets home has a hard time winding down and letting go of the trauma he's seen. Most frustrating is that often the IWCA causes enough red tape that these kids can't get into homes and families who are ready to provide stability and security through adoption. It seems like there ought to be amendments made so the process doesn't slow down or come to a complete halt while these children's lives are ticking away. Thoughts?
