Dating after placing a baby is hard for me- I love my birth daughter and she's a big part of my life. I am very open about my adoption, and I tell a guy within a few dates about her. Sometimes that scares them off, but I feel like they're not worth it if they run away. Adoption affects my relationships in that I REALLY want to have a family of my own. Sometimes I feel like I rush things because of that desire. How has adoption affected your dating life? When do you tell potential SO's about your birth child?
