We just had our first holiday as parents and we got together with our son's biological uncle and his kids to dye Easter eggs. It was fun to get to know each other better since we met for the first time a month ago on the day our son was born. I was nervous it was going to be awkward, but we had a really good time. I want to plan another activity with them for future holidays and was hoping to get some ideas. What holiday traditions do you have with your child's biological family.

We don't usually get together on holidays themselves, but we try and plan a visit within a week or so of the major holidays. Usually we just do a fun activity with the kids. This Christmas we went on a sleigh ride together which was very fun. We have gone to carnivals, swimming, or just hanging out at the house and exchanging gifts. We do the same things any extended family would do, and I love it.
