Placement day was the hardest, most beautiful day of my life. I signed TPR at 9:30 am and spent the next hour kissing my little one and telling her how much I love her. At 10:30, the adoptive parents came in with their son. They had gifts for me, and I had some gifts for them. After we exchanged them their son left the room with grandma. I walked my baby girl around to each of my family members so they could say goodbye to her. I held her and cried for awhile, and then it was time. I placed my daughter into her new mommy's arms and we all cried so hard. I left the room shortly thereafter. I will never forget.
