What questions and what to expect during adoption hearing?

I am adopting my 2 year old stepson and my wife and I are representing ourselves in court. we are asking for the termination of prenatal rights due to abandonment. what are we to expect during the hearing? will the judge want to hear from me or just my wife and what questions will most likely be asked? we are having the case in Florida.
