I've heard that some adoption agencies charge different amounts of money to process adoptions for babies, depending on their race, with white baby adoptions costing the most, and black baby adoptions costing the least. Have you encountered this in real life? Within the past five years? Is it still a thing?

I've read where that's been the case but this was 3 to 4 years ago. I'm not sure if it's still true. I do know there are agencies that use a sliding scale and go according to the prospective adoptive parents' income.
