Has anyome adopted a baby who's birth mom was very young, like 14 or under? What was that like? Do you feel that she knew what she was doing in consenting to the adoption?

Minors under the age of 21 are legally required to have Parental Consent to sign any type of contract.
I would go ' slowly ' if you are in fact considering this option??
That depends on the state, I placed when I was a minor and didn't need parental consent. This is all hypothetical, I've just heard of a few situations where expectant mom was 13 or 14, and I wonder what kind of protection they have. Even requiring parental consent can be dodgy, because the parent may pressure them to place even if they don't want to.
Juvenile Dependency or Foster Care you would need the Consent of the Case Management .
As well as the Judge or Court System.
