Has anyone been following Thomas Rhett's adoption story? I was really interested to learn that Ugandan law requires that international adoptive parents foster children for a year before adopting. I would imagine (maybe?) that helps prevent adoption scams/helps ensure the kids are truly orphans. What are your thoughts?

Personally, I think that it/ Fostering Advocates ' Bonding and or Attachment ' more than anything else??
As well as a ' Broader ' experience of getting to know the Child's (rens' ) Cultures indepthly??
I don't know if she is still online this Forums, but there is a ' American Mom ' . Who Fostered, for 4 years in Peru??

I know that you have somewhat of an interest in China Adoptions.
Some reputable Agencies will allow Americans or Foreigners to Foster during their Adoption process (es) !!!!!
Would or have ya'll considered this with China??
That is interesting! I'd never heard of such a thing. Is there a program or agency specifically that assists with that sort of thing?
