TRANSRACIAL ADOPTION RESEARCH STUDY
You are invited to participate in a study that aims to explore how White mothers, who have adopted Black children, made adoption choices regarding adoptee race, and to explore racial socialization messages and practices that may or may not be used for their children, conducted by Ms. Cory Olmstead of Loyola University Maryland, Department of Psychology, as part of her thesis project. The study involves an interview lasting approximately one hour involving a series of questions about your life and adoption experiences held via telephone or teleconference. Participants will be entered into a raffle to win a $30 Amazon gift card. If you have adopted a Black child who is now between the ages of 14 and 18, the parent(s) in the household is/are White, and would like more information about participating, contact: Investigator/Graduate Student at colmstead1@loyola.edu.
