Going to school after so much trauma

I aged out two years ago and now intend to attend New York Film Academy. I spent my entire childhood wanting parents and to be "chosen" now I choose me. Every day I choose me and I really need to go to this school. I need a chance at a life that is not trauma-centered because I know I am capable of doing great things.
