I think it depends on the kids. Are they okay with it? Then it's totally fine. If they don't want this special moment to go on the internet, then it shouldn't.
In this case, I spoke with the mother briefly. I didn't ask her if she had discussed it with the kids before posting it, but I got the impression that she would have taken their feelings into consideration. She is a long time foster parent and said ultimately hoped sharing it would encourage more people to consider adoption.
I know people will look for what people do wrong constantly--especially when it comes to raising a family. I think what this family did was super cute and it seemed appropriate for them. I think every family decides what level of privacy they would like.
