For someone who is in a closed records state, what are the steps he can take to get the laws changed? I'm assuming one would have to write letters to representatives, but who exactly? I would love to become a larger part of the adoptee rights movement. I live in Florida and I would love to have our states records open.
Here is a link to a news article that has the names of a few advocates for getting the bill in front of the governor.
Try reaching out to them and find out what you can do to help. Give them a call, write them a letter or/and send them an email.
Just tell them you want to help get it passed -- find out what kind of grassroots type of activities you can participate in to help the cause.
