Foster introduction

I saw a really great video about this once. This foster mom thought it was really important to respect the child's privacy and let them share what they wanted to. So she would tell people, whether they did or didn't know she was a foster parent, "This is Sarah. She's staying with us for awhile". If the child chose to go into detail they could, but they didn't have to and most people just accepted the explanation.

I really like that!
