I'm new to this forum so apologies in advance if this topic has already been covered. [I did a bunch of searches and didn't find it, but that could be user error.] My husband and I are considering adopting out of the foster system. CA has concurrent planning. Our son is 6. One of our concerns is that we are placed with a child and our son gets very attached and then the child ends up going back to their bfamily. My husband and I know it will be hard on us, but we can handle it. Our concern is for our bio child. Does anyone have experience with this? I'd especially love to hear from anyone who might have been a bio child and experienced this when they were younger. Thanks.
