Home Study - What to expect?

Hi, Right now I am waiting for them to call and let me know when our home study will be. I've already filled out yards of paperwork and passed all of my background checks. Does anyone have experience with a step parent adoption home study? I was told we only need this one study and that it will take about two hours. Can anyone tell me what to expect? What they normally do?
