Finding birth father

I was born in Melbourne 1963 and my birth Mother is refusing to tell me who my birth Father is. I really need to know my family medical history. Is there a way to find out or do I have grounds to sue her for his name ?

Have you found out an answer? I can't see that you would have grounds to sue her? Have you tried using DNA testing on Ancestry to track family down?
