We were chosen as 1 of 4 families to meet a potential childs caseworker. We were totally open and flexible to meet whenever she was available, and now the childs worker is telling our social worker that she is not wanting to set up a meeting with us yet as she has a potential family lined up to meet later this week. I'm confused why the childs worker even contacted our worker to set up a time if they are planning on someone else. Our social worker responded that it would be great if they would at least meet us and then decide if we aren't the right fit for him. Is that typical? Has anyone else had a similar experience?
