My husband and I have married recently, but have lived together for 3 years and together for 4. We had tried fertility treatments for a year bc having a baby took precedent over getting married (I'm 36 and figured we can get married at any age but not necessarily have kids at any age). I see for Gladney and the American Adoption that you need to be married for a min. of 2 years.
I'm looking to do a domestic infant adoption and I live in Texas- are we out of luck using agencies bc we haven't been legally married long enough? Is our best option going to be an attorney?
Thank you!
