Please don’t judge !

My husband is an amazing man with a great job. About 4 years before I met him he went through a difficult time. It happened once and he was caught and spent one night in jail and was sent to therapy — he took an upskirt picture of a stranger. We live in California. When he told me I became very guarded and sneaky. I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything weird going on. And there wasn’t, so I married him after a few years of dating. We had a baby and he’s a great father. But the pregnancy ripped my pelvis apart so I can no longer have kids. I immediately wanted to adopt... but then I realized perhaps his one time issue would make us unable to pass a home inspection. Is that correct? Thank you.
