Does anyone have experience with adopted kids that are violent and hit? My son, age 10, adopted at 10months, has been wrestling with adoption issues and has started hitting. He has been hitting, almost everyday, for about 1 month. I do not know what to do to stop the hitting. Advice? He does have a therapist. But, I do not know what to do at home to help stop the hitting. The violent behavior is very upsetting to everyone at home, including my son.
