I have a family acquaintance that just adopted a 2 year old. As an adoptee myself I feel the call to say something--just one tiny something--to plant a nugget so this sweet little one can grow up healthily in a family and a culture that does not match her first family and culture. Or maybe I'll chicken out and just hope that they read this subreddit and understand the significance of this adoption in their child's life. I don't know.
