Beginning Question

Hi! I’m new to this forum thing. My husband and I are starting the process to foster/adopt. Our last classes are this weekend. I’m sure that I could ask the trainer, but I figured I’d ask the community about their experiences and get a jump on things. My question is would we have to provide information like medical card, TB test, etc. about my stepson (husband’s bio child)? His mother is very private about these things and will not give us copies. He does not live full-time in our home. We have every other weekend (or all of able) and half of all holidays as well as every other week during the summer.
