Thread: Los Angeles Foster Care Question
I fostered in New York through the county. One con of a private agency is they can make it harder to be certified. A government agency is supposed to be less stringent.
Hi! My husband and I are looking to foster/ adopt. We are unsure if we should go through the county (LA county) or a private agency. We are looking to foster infants/ toddlers. I've heard pros and cons to both. I've heard private agencies can take longer for placement, but provide more support for the families. Do anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!
