Hi all,
Realize the neurofeedback topic has been circulated several times over the years on this forum. I've been investing enormous amounts of time to the topic of RAD and any emerging treatments to help augment the other structured parenting best practices - I found encouraging info on the use of neurofeedback for early trauma/RAD led by Dr Sebern Fisher - refer here for an overview:
I'm seeking collective feedback from caregivers that invested in neurofeedback treatments for a kiddo suffering from early trauma / RAD. I realize the official clinical trial/empirical data is still limited......but welcome updates from those that tried it - with success as well as without success- for their kiddos with complex needs!
I need to better confirm (& subsequently convince some other parties) whether its a worthwhile investment, or whether it was largely ineffective or if it resulted in any 'dangers' / concerning side effects with respect to behavior, etc.
Thx in advance!
