looking for birth mom

I am trying to find a sibling that was given up for adoption in Ottawa my mother was in a home for unwed mothers and gave birth to a child I have been told male but I could have been lied to. Her maiden name was Lewis and she was 17 at the time of birth. Father was possibly a military man she had met.(unknown for sure).
