Rosalie Hall is a unwed mothers home...now considered a teenage pregnancy center. Have you asked them for information?
If you dont have the address here it is
Rosalie Hall
3020 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, Ont.
M1P 2T7 416-438-6880
They should allow you to at least put a letter in your file if nothing else.
Another good thing to try is Canadopt, a support forum.

I am not certain what level of openness your parents had with your birthmother, but I do know another Rosalie Hall birthmother who stated that she too had recieved pictures of her child throughout the years. What happens is there is a file opened at your adoption, the adoptive parents can send letters updates pictures ect, the birthmother can send letters pictures updates ect to Rosalie Hall. They then either send them to the rightful people or they keep them on site until they are picked up by either party. I am making a big guess but it would be my guess that if your birthmother did recieve pictures that she would have either reciprecated with her own or a letter of some sort to you. which may very well still be in her file..the problem is Ontario laws state that you do have to wait until you are 18 to get these. BUT there is absolutely nothing stopping you from entering your own letter. I am not certain how you go about it, let me find out and get back to you.

oh, in ontario you'd most likely have to be 19 since it's the legal age. it used to be 18 in canada, but that changed a few years ago.
also, i don't know what your parents could do about getting the information for you unless they did actually have contact. my adoption was private and the 2 families had absolutely no contact with each other.
