i am iso of my sis and i am at a total loss cause i can't find anything thru w.va. on a website please anyone with any info please help. She was born in the first part of 1971. and given up for adoption 3 months after she was born. iwas told she was tooken to a foster home then. the town was small i don't know why this is so hard.i have alot of info on her but where to search i don't know.:(

Tammy- I was born in the same hospital - I just thought I would let you know that there ARE people reading these and looking and I hope you find her. The add made my heart sink at first because it was almost what I need to see except the months were wrong :( I am august of 1970. I hope you find her- dont give up!

Tammy-I know that it was ohio valley hospital and my mother stayed at a home called Critton(sp?) home for unwed mothers run by a methodist church. All of my documents are sealed so I am not sure what I need to do from this point on. My birth certificate says 8-24-70, but do you mean that they do change the days to fit the adoption day? hello sorry it took me so long to get back here. Do you know where your adoption was finalized and who the doc name was. i have the birth records from the hospital for the whole dilivery. that how i found out my sis b-day . was your adoption handled thru human services? I know my sister was 3 months old when she was adopted out . please reply with any info you may have maybe we can help each other

I would greatly appreciate some one's help now more than ever. I recently in the last couple of days was doing a family tree and searching on the internet when I came across a death notice for a young lady that had the same b-day and b-place and first name of my sister.Today is the 14 of May and she past away last Thursday the 10 th of May. And the thing about it is her parents only lived one town away from where I used live growing up. I was told that if you go to the county courthouse and ask to look up births for the year and day that is in question that it will give a name with the time of birth and the doctor name and the parents even though it is amended. I think the only way to know for sure if this person is my sister is to get that info but I am not able to get a look at the books so I am wondering if you can help me in this situation?
