ISO birth mother - Boy born on January 10, 1971 at St. Mary's Hospital looking for mother. I have been told that she resided at the maternity home in Evansville, IN and may have been 16 years old. I'm just starting to search and looking for advice. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you.

On or after July 1, 2018 a new law goes into effect and you can apply through the Indiana Adoption Matching Registry (not the Medical History one) and request "identifying information". I don't know exactly what that means compared to how other states have done it, which is to release your original birth certificate. Note there is a chance your birth mother may have requested redaction in the last two years (when the bill was signed by the Gov). Historically the amount to do so has be around 2% or there about - so you have a good chance this way.
