I am a 37 year old adoptee, and have been searching for a few years. I have come across some more info regarding my birth/adoption. Things that only my BM and AM knows. I have 4 children 2 of whom have medical problems. I need to find out as much as I can, but keep ending up with dead ends. I was born 8/12/65 acording to my birth certificate. Believed to have been born as St. Joe's in Denver, but my mother was from Brighton. She had a daughter and a son before me, which she kept. I have no interest in disrupting their lives, if they don't want to meet that's okay. I would like to meet them, but will respect. I understand why I was given up and harbor no ill feelings for my BM. I just need to know that my children will be ok.

Have you checked for the search guru tips under the Colorado forum? Also, some states allow the opening of records for medical reasons. I was told that if I had a condition that would be helped by genelogical info, that I could petition the state to open records. Does Colorado give out non-identifying info. You could get that. Go to Colorado in the Search area and find a Guru post. That should have all the addresses and contacts in the state.
I'm sorry for the problems your children are suffering and know that, that adds even more urgency to your search.
