One thing to keep in mind is that the social worker Wants you to "pass"--they want to help the agency place a child in your home, too! Granted, they have to work in the child's best interest and they can't overlook something that would clearly be detrimental to a child, but when all is said and done they want to assist you, not be the bad guy.
