The tragic death of nine-year-old Jenica Randazzo has put people in the community in an outrage. Her uncle beat her and her sister and killed their grandmother. There were reports that raised many concerns before the death of nine-year-old Jenica, but those reports never resulted in a much-needed investigation.

DCF Secretary, Mike Carroll, reported that this was not an instance of prematurely reuniting biological family. In this case, Jenica’s adoption was in process.

Since her death in January, foster mom Ashley Rhodes-Courter has been a squeaky wheel. “This just has to end,” she said.
