Simply put, this video is a graduation project for an art class. But the message is so much deeper. Through animation the creators share the feelings infusing the lives of foster children. Loneliness, fright, and despondency all come through. Then when children are taken in and truly loved by foster parents, the negative feelings are assuaged and children begin to feel like they belong.
With over 400,000 foster children in the United States, and many more throughout the world, foster and adoptive homes are in great demand. Agencies would have us all know that we do not have to be perfect to be foster parents, we just need to have the desire.
