Tragedy has led to support.  The grandfather of Avalena Conway-Coxon, who passed away in foster care not long ago, has started a foundation in memory of the young girl. Shortly after the young Auburn child’s death, her 27-year-old mother died of a drug overdose. The grandfather, David Coxon, hopes the foundation will offer young pregnant women with substance abuse problems proper support as they navigate their way through pregnancy and motherhood. The tragedy has broken the hearts of the Coxon family and they hope their efforts will make a difference to others.
