Adoption.com helped circulate the viral video “Dear Future Baby” in March of this year, in with a hopeful adoptive couple sang a love song to the child they hoped to adopt. Just two months later, their baby arrived. The couple is now working toward the creation of a foundation that will help other hopeful adoptive parents create their own families. From little Jackson’s adoptive parents:

“Joey and I are incredibly honored and humbled to welcome our son, Jackson Rudy, to the world! Life as we know it has changed and I’m happy to say that it’s all for the better-–our heads are in the clouds and our hearts are in the palm of our son Jackson’s hands. The type of unconditional love we already have for our son was immediate, is everlasting, and a truly divine blessing. We are so grateful that our son found us.

“Both Joey and I are forever grateful to Jackson’s birth mother for selecting us as parents and for her incredible and selfless act of love. The relationship we were able to establish with her and her family has been more than we could have possibly asked for. We also very thankful for everyone who has supported and encouraged us throughout our journey–-every like, share, and repost helped us make our dreams a reality! As our ‘Dear Future Baby’ video grew in size from a grassroots effort to a national campaign, we could not be more grateful to the media for their continual coverage and support.

“Our adoption process has been equal parts exciting, scary, stressful, and amazing, but in the end it has been more than worth it! Currently we are in the process of creating a foundation focused on providing financial and emotional support and assistance to families who are waiting to adopt and who may have experienced the emotional and financial unease associated with unsuccessful adoption.”
