The good news is that in Tyler, Texas, more children were adopted from the foster care system this year than last year. The bad news is that more there are over 30,000 children in foster care in Texas – that’s 2,000 more than last year. Texas is indicative of the situation in other states as well. There are great foster parents everywhere; and there are great adoptive parents as well. But we can do better. With more children entering the system every year, adults everywhere need to step up and help as we can. Watch 2-year-old Skyleigh in this video.
