Adam Martin is 24 years old. At the age of six, his parents adopted him through the foster care system. His early trauma has made life difficult for him, even though he’s been raised in a very loving family. By the age of 13, Martin’s parents knew that he needed help. He was diagnosed with depression and other mental health issues, and since that time he has struggled severely with being able to get past his trauma to live a normal life. He has been hospitalized 10 times for mental health issues — for psychiatric evaluation and monitoring.

Currently on suicide watch in the local jail, his parents are very concerned about him. They know he needs to pay for what he has done, but his parents hope that he gets the psychological help he needs.
