Being adopted and raised in New Zealand, this young man has the rare opportunity to travel to Russia and meet his birth mother. With just a few hours to get to know each other — not even speaking the same language — it was a tender reunion. But it was not nearly long enough. Alex knows his birth mother gave him his best chance at a good life.
Then Alex travels on to St. Petersburg, Russia, where he is blessed to meet his birth father and discover that he has a sister. Amazingly, his birth father had learned only a few months earlier that he was Alex’s father. Clearly, their connection was immediate.
