Fourth and Fifth graders Megan and D.J. are finally home! When D.J. was just 18 months old, he was placed in foster care. He was blessed to spend a year and a half with the Tolsma family, who loved and cared him. A couple of years later when D.J. was again placed in foster care, the Tolsmas took himT in–this time, with his little sister, Megan. The children were later adopted, but it didn’t last.
In February of this year, the Tolsmas were informed that the children were back in foster care. They immediately opened their home to D.J. and Megan, but decided that this time it would be permanent. The children are thrilled to have had their adoption finalized this month and to finally be in their forever home.
